Felice Varini
October 11 — November 20, 2014
Some of the works of the young German artist Markus Wüste from the series Short Stories will be exhibited in the showroom (same address, staircase H).
Felice Varini’s work is composed of pictorial works realized on walls and various other surfaces. The various shapes converge into a constructed perspective which is geometric in form and can only be viewed from a specific vantage point, which Varini defines as a “potential starting point”.
The artist’s work is aimed at exploring the multiple perspective possibilities offered by space with the intention of providing the viewer with new pictorial dimensions which the observer not only views but can actually go through. By moving through the space, the viewer can experiment with an infinity of vantage points and be surprised by the appearance of ephemeral, yet real, geometric forms.
