Daily Stone, 2022, stone, newspaper, 310 x 120 x 105 cm

A hole has been drilled in a large boulder that goes through it from side to side. The hole is the same size as a rolled up newspaper. The newspaper of the current day is inserted in the hole. Every day the newspaper must be replaced so the work changes daily while the stone has been the same for millennia, indifferent to the human events of which it becomes the support. The newspaper and its stories change continously. The irremovability and the trancience are the two components of the work. The piece was made in Bangkok with a local stone weighing five tons.
